Nitrogen Partitioning in Young “Julyprince” Peach Trees Grown with Different Irrigation and Fertilization Practices in the Southeastern United States

چکیده
Fertilizer recommendations for peach cultivation in the southeastern United States were developed decades ago and may not reflect trees’ needs under current practices. Adequate fertilization young trees induces a balanced vegetative/reproductive growth, ensures efficient resource use, is environmentally sound. Droughts region are becoming more common. Supplemental irrigation peaches from time of field establishment serves as insurance case drought conditions occur can increase/advance yield trees. Our objective was to determine influence different fertilizer levels (25, 50, 100, 200% recommended rate), (irrigated vs. non-irrigated), systems (drip micro-sprinkler) on nitrogen partitioning concentration organs The cumulative (N) removal per tree affected by levels. Most N allocation accounted summer pruning defoliation (68% total removed). Irrigated had higher after three years than non-irrigated trees, with differences between irrigated most vegetative events (winter pruning, defoliation). Drip-irrigated micro-sprinkler-irrigated tress, found reproductive events. Differences mainly driven dry weight rather organs. These results suggest that did alter indicating reduction applications be done without negative effects. Furthermore, induced greater especially conditions, which result canopy volume fruit compared consistent; however, drip micro-sprinkler irrigation, ~38% water savings.

Interaction of different irrigation strategies and soil textures on the nitrogen uptake of field grown potatoes
Nitrogen (N) uptake (kg ha-1) of field-grown potatoes was measured in 4.32 m2 lysimeters that were filled with coarse sand, loamy sand, and sandy loam and subjected to full (FI), deficit (DI), and partial root-zone drying (PRD) irrigation strategies. PRD and DI as water-saving irrigation treatments received 65% of FI after tuber bulking and lasted for six weeks until final harvest. Results show...

In 2010, the United States adopted its first-ever comprehensive set of health system reforms in the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Implementation of the law, though politically contentious and controversial, has now reached a stage where reversal of most elements of the law is no longer feasible. The controversial portions of the law that expand affordable health insurance coverage to most U.S. cit...

Race, Education Attainment, and Happiness in the United States
Background and aims: As suggests by the Minorities’ Diminished Returns (MDR) theory, educationattainment and other socioeconomic status (SES) indicators have a smaller impact on the health andwell-being of non-White than White Americans. To test whether MDR also applies to happiness, in thepresent study, Blacks and Whites were compared in terms of the effect of education attai...
